Elisabethen-Apotheke

Leutkirch

A NEW BEGINNING WITH NORDIC SIMPLICITY

In summer 2024, the Elisabethen Pharmacy in Leutkirch underwent a sensitive and extensive modernization – a renovation that marks the transition into a new pharmacy era, both visually and experientially. Following the recent takeover by pharmacist Ms. Harlacher, the pharmacy was reimagined in terms of structure and design – all without losing its familiar charm.

OPEN, WARM AND CUSTOMER-FOCUSED

The goal of the renovation was to create a modern, welcoming pharmacy that radiates calm and invites customers to linger. Clear lines, natural materials, and a Scandinavian-inspired design concept have shaped a space that fosters trust and enables consultation at eye level. Light wood surfaces, subtle colors and carefully designed lighting contribute to a welcoming and calm atmosphere – for both customers and staff.

TECHNOLOGY, SUBTLY INTEGRATED

A modern order-picking system has been seamlessly incorporated into the design – complete with a direct output feature – to streamline workflows and reduce waiting times. The technology is intentionally kept in the background, discreetly supporting the overall lightness of the interior.

MORE ROOM FOR PERSONAL CONSULTATIONS:

The redesign also introduced an additional consultation room – discreetly positioned yet open and inviting. This allows for sensitive conversations to take place in a calm setting without disrupting the pharmacy’s day-to-day operations.

WHERE FUNCTION MEETS DESIGN

The back office has been ergonomically restructured and tailored to the workflows of the new owner. The combination of modern technology, efficient spatial planning, and aesthetic design makes Elisabethen Pharmacy a space that is both highly functional and emotionally engaging – a successful fresh start with a distinct design identity.
